Taste of Manila in Toronto City  is set on August 23-24, 2014

The"Taste of Manila" which is the first Filipino street festival is scheduled in the streets of Bathurst and Wilson Ave. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on August 23-24, 2014.

According to Rolly Mangante, the organizer of the event is a project of the Filipino community through  the Philippine Cultural Community Centre (PCCC) in coordination with the Philippine Consulate Office of Toronto and other Filipino community, religious, youth, and women associations in Ontario.

He explained that  Bathurst Street will be closed from Wilson Avenue up to Allingham Street. 

The Taste of Manila  will showcase different kinds of of Filipino Foods, sports and games, Filipino music and dances, and many more activites.
