PHL CONSULATE GENERAL IN SAN FRANCISCO VISITS KABABAYANS IN COLORADO

23 September 2014 - The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco has just wrapped up another successful Consular Outreach in Aurora and Colorado Springs, Colorado this September. The highly anticipated Consulate-on-Wheels (COW) in Colorado provided much needed passport, civil registry and legal services to our kababayans in the Rocky Mountain State.

The COW in Colorado yielded a total of 318 passport applications, 34 acknowledgement and authentication certificates, 54 reports of births and marriages, and 84 dual citizenship applications.

An added service in all of the Consulate General’s Consular Outreach is the overseas voters registration.  Filipinos all over the world are encouraged to participate in the ongoing overseas voters registration to be eligible to vote in the 2016 presidential elections. A total of 332 kababayans were registered in Aurora and Colorado Springs.

For more information on overseas voting, or to check your voter registration status, please send an email to [email protected].

To find out more about upcoming Consulate-on-Wheels, please check the Philippine Consulate General’s website www.philippinessanfrancisco.org, or follow the Consulate’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/PCGSF.
