There's a new community player in town ! Yes. A  one-year old organization of dedicated and committed multicultural leaders and personalities is partnering with- a- mission and participating with- a- vision in the social and charitable programs of various ethnic and mainstream communities in Ontario.

At a simple press conference on July 27, 2015, four talented and lovely candidates representing 12 other beauty contestants of the Canada Top Choice Charitable Foundation ( CTCCF) were engagingly presented to the public. The meet-the-press event was held in connection with the organization's Canada's Top Choice Pageant 2015 Grand Final in support of its charitable project benefiting Canadian Cancer Society and Yellow Brick House.

Those who  confidently met some members of the local press and gamely answered questions  were : Maria Theresa Yeeto Albarracin, Andrea Gallo,  Sheena Osman, and Daphne Vimalanathan . Proudly, M. Albarracin is the only Filipino finalist in the contest. The 2- hour meet-the- press event was held at the Philippine  Cultural Community Centre ( PCCC), 3768 Bathurst Street,  North York, Toronto.

The members of the Filipino media present were: Joe Damasco, Ariel Santos and  Bong Malano . And, the trio was joined in by Tony A. San Juan, who served as moderator. Present also were some parents, friends, relatives and supporters of the contestants.

Canada's Top Choice Charitable Foundation , a multicultural body was organized on August 26, 2014, with Korean Canadian Chris Park, South Asian Canadian Justin Persaud and Fil-Chinese Canadian Jennifer Sy as its Founders. The Ontario-based Foundation is registered as a not-for-profit organization "to help our community grow and to advance and promote the public appreciation for the art", as well.

The CTCCF Organizing & Planning  Committee , led by Jennifer Sy, is composed of : Tabi-G ( image consultant), Robelyn Soriano ( PR director), Nancy Yan ( sponsorship director), Rosalie Francisco ( choreographer), Heidi Jahnke ( multicultural relation director), Minnie Wang( multicultural media director) and Randy Bucao ( Filipino media director).

The fledgling organization is conducting its first Ontario - wide event, Canada's Top Choice Pageant 2015 Grand Final on August 23, 2015 , Sunday, 7:00 p.m. at Daniel Spectrum Theatre, 585 Dundas Street East, Toronto.
