TEAM CANADA CROSSOVER PAID COURTESY CALL TO PHILIPPINE CONSULATE TORONTO

February 19, 2016- Coach Mike Cruz and his team, Canada Crossover paid a courtesy call at the office of the Philippine Consulate in Toronto and was gladly and enthusiastically received by Consul-General Rosita Prospero.

Hon. Rosita Prospero engaged the players who are mostly high school students from across Durham Region and the GTA in a candid conversation. The Consul-General was eager to know how going home to play in the Philippines create an impact on their young lives.


The young players were also very engaging during the conversation. No one hides the excitement of their coming travel where they are slated to compete with SM NBTC CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS to be held at Mall of Asia in Manila, Philippines this March 13-17 2016.

Team Canada Crossover is one of two international teams competing along with a team from Thailand. The team will compete with local high school teams across the Philippines on this competition. Supporters of the team are crossing their fingers for a triumphant homecoming.
