In consonance with APCO’s commitment to support the cooperative hospital for indigents in Ilocos Sur, Ruben and Dr Cen Amores, current and founding president of the Alliance of Philippine Community Organisations Inc (APCO) personally handed over APCO’s donations to the Management Committee of Ilocos Sur Mission Cooperative Hospital while on Christmas holiday in the Philippines recently.
The donation consisted of linens, surgical equipment and a $1000 cash. On hand to receive the in-kind and cash donations include: Dr Mel Rosario, Head of hospital and some members of the Board of Management: Dr Frank Macanas, Dr Salvador Eder, Dr Fides Allarde and other hospital staff.
