RIYADH: Masasabing sulit ang pagod at hirap ng Team Riyadh FILVAR ng talunin nila ang Dubai FEVA at maiuwi ang championship trophy para sa Men’s Division sa katatapos lamang na 3rd Inter-GCC Volleyball Tournament na ginanap sa Al Muharraq Gymnasium, Kingdom of Bahrain noong June 26-27, 2017.

Itinanghal naman na Most Valuable Player si Alvin Medina at John Rambacal-best blocker, Herson Solinap-best server, Alvin Medina-best spiker- at Sandy Lambojon-best libero para sa mga indibidwal na pagkilala.

Ang nasabing liga ay inorganisa ng FCVG-Filipino Club Volleyball Group in Bahrain kung saan ito ay sinalihan ng mga koponang mula sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng GCC kabilang ang Dubai FEVA, Abu Dhabi ADFIVA, Kuwait, Riyadh FILVAR, Al Khobar at Bahrain FCVG.

Sa kabilang banda, wagi naman ang Dubai FEVA sa Women’s Division category.

Kabilang sa delegasyon ng Team Riyadh FILVAR ay binuo nina Ali Al Ghuraidi-Manager, Lito Verzosa at Raphy Serrano-Heads Delegate kasama  ang mga players nito na sina John Rambacal, Herson Solipnap, James Abarquez, Francis Quidlat, Joey Cuizon, Sandy Lambojon, Gilbert Torres, Josh Santiago, Anthony Guiao, Alvin Medina at Albert Guinto.  (Marlon B.
