121st Rizal Martyrdom Celebration in Toronto

The Knights of Rizal Canada  headed  by Region Commander  Sir Eduardo C. Prillo, KGOR, celebrated the 121st Rizal Martyrdom  in Toronto on December 20, 2017. Consul Edwin Mendoza  of the Toronto Consular Office gave the inspirational talk and led the Wreath laying on Dr. Jose P. Rizal bust.


During this Martyrdom celebration, nine new Knight of Rizal (KR) were inducted They are : Sir Bernard Virtucio, Sir Ben de Glus, Sir Rolly Ferrer, Sir Mhel Rey de Leza, Sir Eric Gatiano, Sir Ferdinand Maon, Sir Regelito Dano, Sir Michael Oliva, Sir Bhayr Araday.

Rizal Lifetime Membership Plaques were presented to three Commanders

During this 121st Rizal Martyrdom celebrations, the Region Commander presented Plaque of Appreciation to commanders who have made significant contribution to Rizal Canada Region in the year 2017, especially, during the 17th Coommanders Ball.

Two active Chapter Commanders, who has been regularly supporting Rizal Canada Region Council,  Sir Faustus Dean Garcia, KCR, of Mississauga, and Sir Virgilio "Ver" Amante, KCR, of Scarborough was presented their Lifetime Membership plaque by Region Commander Sir Ed Prillo, KGOR. 

Sir Bernard Virtucio, a knight,  who is very active in the community and is now the Chapter Commander of the new Toronto Central Chapter, also received his Lifetime Membership and earned his Knight Commander of Rizal (KCR) title.  Sir Bernard have a number of great ideas to promote Knights of Rizal Canada Region.
