INK to hold community event in Lindfield(SYDNEY)

 The Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo) Local of North Sydney is holding a community event 7-9 pm Sunday, 5 January in Lindfield to help in the settlement of new Filipino migrants.

Called ‘My Countrymen, My Brethren (Kababayan Ko, Kapatid Ko), the two-hour event promises Filipino food, goodie bags, health check, career advice and games.

Dr Frenn Aben, president of the church’s Light of Salvation Department, said that they will also give away pre-loved clothes and household items.

His department raises awareness about the Church of Christ, located at 454 Pacific Highway, Lindfield where the event will take place.

Resident Minister Paul Barrientos leads the 130-strong congregation.

The venue is a seven-minute walk from Lindfield train station and parking is available onsite.
