FPPF TO HOST 34TH PHOTOWORLD ASIA 2020

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Federation of Philippine Photographer’s Foundation Inc.-(FPPF)), the longest existing reputable photographic educational institution and accredited TESDA Assessment Center  in the Philippines will host this year’s biggest international photographer’s convention and trade exhibits commencing on Jan. 30 – Feb. 4, 2020, to be held at the Glorietta 2 in Makati  for the (Photo and Trade Exhibits), and at the Asian Institute of Management - (AIM) Convention Center in Makati for the (Photographer’s Conference.)

FPPF Chairman Eduvegis Y. Huang has announced that Photoworld Asia 2020 is the 34th edition of annual international photographer’s conference of photographers from the neighboring Asian countries and, with the active  participation of different camera clubs and organizations affiliated with FPPF within the country and Filipino FPPF members and professional photographers from overseas. She also praised and commended the overwhelming continued support and cooperation extended to the Federation by major sponsoring photographic business industry and establishments in the country.

The photography trade show and exhibits runs from (Jan. 30-Feb. 4) at the Glorietta in Ayala is free and is open to the public. The international photographer’s convention at AIM Makati from (Jan. 31-Feb.2) needs registration and an entrance fee.

With this year’s theme, “Lifestyle and Travel”, Photoworld Asia 2020 aims to provide participants acquire new techniques and technical know-how from the collated expertises   from among invited experienced professional resource speakers; and to provide participants, with a roadmaps,  different  photographic modules and explore opportunities and experience how to developed and improved their craft through the photographer’s convention, according to FPPF President and Projector Director Pablo “Ka Lito” N. Beltran during an interview.

Photoworld Asia 2020 Chairman James Singlador commenting on the importance and essence of this year’s  theme during the launching of the project said -  “Aside from documenting our travels, we know that commercial travel photography provides imagery for a thrillion-dollar global tourism industry because we are photographing  hotel destinations, resorts, tourist attractions, sceneries, adventures, local events, cultures and customs that are being used for advertising, merchandising and print sales. While Lifestyle photography aims to capture the art and stories of our everyday lives and inspire people at different times. Our logo reflects, which is a photoman travelling with a navigator sign, symbolizes our theme “Travel and Lifestyle.
